Just finished watching House's Head and Wilson's Heart on USA. So sad.
Poor Wilson. And House just breaks my heart when he talks about Wilson hating him.

One of the most heartbreaking parts is definitely House talks about Wilson hating him - it just hurts to listen to him in the scene on the bus because it's one of the few times I think we've seen him so vulnerable.
And whoa Hugh's eyes are so blue in this scene they're almost distracting. This man has such breathtakingly blue eyes that I can and have gone on and on and on about them.

I love these two episodes. I cried throughout Wilson's Heart (especially during the DBS when House was crying and the white bus scene at the end), but I stayed away from tearjerkers this weekend so it wasn't so bad. I hate to see men cry for some reason. It's always so much sadder than when women cry.
Anne Dudek, RSL and Hugh all did an amazing job!

Oh agreed the lighting in that scene had something to do with his eyes looking so blue but there are many other times throughout the series they're looked just as blue and the actress who played the patient of the week from "Not Cancer", the second episode of Season 5 wrote on her blog that yes his eyes really are THAT blue.
I love these two episodes.
I have to say I do as well especially since it was by watching Wilson's Heart that hooked me for sure to House. Up until I watched it I'd watched an episode here or there but that one was just angsty and poignant I decided right then I'd be tuning in during the new season and I spent the off season last year catching up on the episodes I hadn't seen.

Let's see I think the moment that sets me off to crying in Wilson's Heart has to be when we see House was crying because it is House and because as you said it's so much more sadder to see a man cry. On that note of men crying, RSL also about did me in during this episode because Wilson's agony just radiates off of him. The part where Wilson and Amber say goodbye alone was enough to about do me in and then the scene on the bus just made it worse.
Anne Dudek, RSL and Hugh all did an amazing job!
Oh I completely and 100% agree!
The tearjerkers I watched this weekend were Finding Neverland and ironnically enough Dead Poets Society since what happens to RSL's character in that is what mainly sets me off whenever I watch that movie.
no subject
I haven't seen Dead Poets Society since it first came out (and my memory sucks so I'd have to see it again to remember it), but I'd like to see it now that I've seen RSL in House.
no subject
You and me both, hon. You and me both.
It's funny as lovely as HL's eyes are I am glad they don't always look THAT blue because they would distract me from what's being said/done in an episode.

And I was a kid at the time so I didn't see it when it came out because frankly it wouldn't have interested me. I actually rented it last year and proceeded to cry like the last 30 minutes of it because of what happened to RSL's characters and because of the very last scene of the movie.

That's why I watch House episodes multiple times. (My best friend thinks I'm a raving lunatic.) The first time is to see the PotW and how they solve the problem. The second time I watch it is to pick up details that I missed the first time. And each time after that, it's totally so I can focus on Hugh completely. My favorite eps are the ones where Hugh really showcases his acting chops (Three Stories, One Day, One Room, HH/WH, Detox, Simple Explanation, etc.). I am SO looking forward to the end of this season because I think it's going to be amazing.

Nah you're not a raving lunatic -- well not to us who understand where you're coming from.

Hmmm I might have to adopt this stance on my House viewing because it's impossible to pick up everything the first go around especially with the first time watching an episode ever.

Oh I know what you mean about the episodes Hugh really his acting chops -- Three Stories, One Day One Room, HH/WH, and Detox are definitely on my list for stunning acting from him. I also love his acting in the moments House has shown compassion for someone else like in One Day One Room or Autopsy in Season Two (the scene where House goes to talk to Andie to ask her what she wants). I would also say anytime we've seen House hurt either emotionally or physically are where Hugh does some of his best acting (for example the end of Daddy's Boy... the look on House's face when he's talking to Cameron not to mention how hurt he sounds just makes my heart hurt for him).
I am SO looking forward to the end of this season because I think it's going to be amazing.
Yeah I think it's gonna to be amazing too although I kind of hate how we're at the last three episodes of the season already :( The summer is gonna be soooooooooooo long!

That's why I'm here! It's nice to talk to people who are just as obsessed as I am. My friend actually watches the show, but she's one of those faithful but casual viewers who just thinks House is a total jerk and is lucky that Wilson is his friend. I try to tell her that it isn't so, that there is so much more to it than that, but she'll never be as obsessed as I am so it's kind of a losing battle. I have fun arguing with her, though!

I agree with all of this. Totally.

Hugh's going to kick ass in the last few eps of this season. I just know it's going to be heartwrenching.
I just don't understand how anyone can watch Hugh's portrayal of House and not be as
in loveobsessedin awe as we are.The summer is gonna be soooooooooooo long!
That's for sure! It's going to be hard to wait for season 6, but at least I can get my House fix (thank God for USA, Season 1-4 DVDs, and Season 5 on iTunes!).

I watch them every so often because these two eps more than any others show (for me) the value House places on his friendship with Wilson, the depth of his feelings for him, and the lengths he will go to for him.
And Hugh is just amazing in HH/WH (as always).

I even find it hard to watch the ones where House and Wilson are fighting during the Tritter arc. I'm such a wimp.

I think the Golden Globes and SAG awards are more significant and genuine.

Those episodes always stick with me long after I watch them. It always saddens me to see House put his own life and his own sanity on the line for Wilson, especially knowing what happens after.
Poor House. It's amazing to see exactly how much of an effect Wilson has on him and how deeply he feels for him.
no subject
Oh that and the incredibly manipulative expression on his face, when he went back into House's office to ask him to do the DBS, and how unconcerned he seemed to be, about House's health and safety, during the procedure itself.
Oh and how he kept insisting that House had Amber on the brain because he wanted to bone her.
Yeah actually I don't think I felt sorry for Wilson at any point in that episode, because I didn't like Amber and they'd barely been together on the show so far, due to the writer's stike. Her death didn't really mean anything.

Yeah, that bothers me terribly too. One minute he was telling House to rest and the next minute he was telling him to do something that could kill him. He was choosing someone he dated for 4 months over the man he's been friends with for, what, 10 years? The man had a fractured skull, concussion, bleeding from his ear, and a heart attack yet Wilson felt it was OK to ask him to submit to a DBS. Wilson manipulated House constantly (and successfully) once he found out it was Amber. Walking away from House at the end was just a horrible thing to do. (I'm still waiting for an apology for all of this. He admitted in Saviors that he handled the aftermath of Amber's death badly, but he never admitted to or apologized for putting his friend in mortal danger to save her. I'm crossing my fingers - though I doubt it will happen - that House's breakdown involves telling Wilson just how much he's hurt him and Wilson admitting it and apologizing.)
As far as Wilson's feelings for Amber, I am sort of on the fence. I think it is possible for someone to fall deeply in love in a short period of time, and Wilson is a serial dater/marryer/divorcee, so it's likely that he's the type to fall fast, fall hard, and get tired of it all in a few years. Wilson's grief was, to me anyways, genuine (and RSL's performance was wonderfully convincing).
The negative part of me does, however, glare at the screen and ask why all the drama for someone who has only been around a short while.
Oh and how he kept insisting that House had Amber on the brain because he wanted to bone her.
He kinda did want to bone her. ;-) That wasn't the reason he went through what he did to save her, though.

Me too. Or at least that the breakdown isn't cheapened into some plot device to get House and Cuddy into bed. I can't even believe that they're trying to imply that Cuddy would be the person he'd go to fo advice or solace about anything in regards to his health, mental or physical. She's even less reliable than Wilson. But he at least has a history of friendship with Wilson.
If this whole finale and mental breakdown thing isn't MOSTLY about House's relationship with Wilson, Amber's death, maybe even Kutner's death, I'm going to consider it a waste. If it's mostly about House's nonexistent feelings for Cuddy, I'm going to be shopping for a new show to watch, after I write a scathing letter to DS for ruining his own show.
no subject
True. Not only that, but did Wilson really think that House would do something like that to him? How did he dismiss the part where House told him he tried to send Amber home, yet latch onto the part where some goofy bartender implies that House was "into" Amber? Does Wilson not know House at ALL?

I don't think that House is going to Cuddy for advice. I think, as usual, that she's the one chasing him around. I simply cannot imagine House substituting Cuddy for Wilson. (Then again, maybe he does. Did you see the spoilers where House is in bed talking to Amber? I won't say it here in case you don't like spoilers, but that was a very interesting conversation, as were the props.)
I've seen some interesting speculation about the House/Cuddy sex scene and House's mental state. Whatever the case may be, I hope they get it OVER WITH SOON! I'm sick to death of hearing about it and seriously would like the Huddy shippers to just stop their incessant squeeing over everything, whether real or imagined.

Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I think it's going to be mostly House/Wilson. Wilson has been very supportive in the past couple of episodes and it seems that the writers are trying to get back to the original House/Wilson dynamic. Also, St. Doris is writing the finale. She usually writes the best House/Wilson episodes (and has even called them "lovers" and "larger than life characters" that "deserve mythology" http://www.houseisright.com/2008/09/07/house-writer-doris-egan-talks-about-wilson-house/ ).
If it's mostly about House's nonexistent feelings for Cuddy, I'm going to be shopping for a new show to watch, after I write a scathing letter to DS for ruining his own show.
I'm sincerely hoping this isn't what the last few eps are focusing on, because I will be extremely disappointed. I won't stop watching because I still love the show and enjoy watching Hugh every week, but it would certainly be a slap in the face to end the season that way.

I'm not against spoilers. So anything you know, I'd be interested in hearing. I know House makes a comment about secretly longing to be in Wilson's bedroom or something to that effect.
I have a feeling it will be Cuddy chasing House too, and attempting to insinuate herself in his personal space, like she's done in pretty much every other real life scene they've had together. Not counting the pole dancing thing, since that was the result of a head injury and just a ratings ploy.
I mean, when she was sitting there, holding his hand, when he woke up, it was sad. You could tell that House's immediate thought, upon waking up, was Wilson. Cuddy was like PICK ME! OOH PICK ME!
I'm LOLing at the Huddies and their delusional speculation. The ones that think House is going to the mental institution TO GET ALL BETTER FOR CUDDY are my personal faves. Are these people watching the same show as me? Wilson is the most important person in House's life, and I honestly couldn't see him wanting to get ALL BETTER for Wilson either. If he goes to the mental hospital, it will be because he's genuinely losing his mind and has no other choice. My guess is, when the end comes, someone else (Wilson, Cuddy) will be the one to actually commit him. The season will end with dropping House off at the hospital. Mark my words.
Some people actually think House is going to get Cuddy pregnant next season, thanks to some ridiculous spoiler from Ausiello, which is probably not even about House at all, and is about some other show.
I have yet to be wrong about any prediction I've made about this show. And I say the Huddy sex will be meaningless, random, temporary and possibly a hallucination. The spoiler got leaked so far in advance for the sheer purpose of stirring interest with fans, nothing more. They figure people will tune in every week, hoping that episode will BE THE ONE WHERE IT HAPPENS when in fact it won't be, and by the time it finally does, it will be so anticlimactic, that even the Huddy lovers will be bored to death.
I mean, keep in mind these are the same people who managed to make Thirteen dying of a terminal illness boring.

You are absolutely right in that DS calls the shots. I think he does fanservice, but only when it suits him. He's not going to change the entire direction of the show for any of us.
As far as the whole St. Doris thing goes, I think I appreciate her because she totally focuses on the House/Wilson relationship. Other writers like to focus on Foreteen, or House/Cuddy, or whatever, but Doris Egan always places the H/W relationship on top where it belongs. I know DS has final say, but I think he knows the fans want H/W more than any other relationship and he allows Doris to give us that. Whatever opinion any of us holds, to me it's a good omen that Doris wrote the last episode. It may or may not be good, but it WILL be about H/W, and that's something.
I'm not against spoilers. So anything you know, I'd be interested in hearing. I know House makes a comment about secretly longing to be in Wilson's bedroom or something to that effect.
Yeah, that's the one. Also, did you notice that the shirt on the chair Amber is sitting in is the same one Wilson wore in the scene when she realizes he bought the mattress she wanted? House doesn't wear striped shirts. I don't know if it's part of the hallucination and House's obviously subconscious desire to have sex with Wilson, but there you go. (House+Wilson=Canon!)
I have a feeling it will be Cuddy chasing House too, and attempting to insinuate herself in his personal space, like she's done in pretty much every other real life scene they've had together.
Nauseating, isn't it? I seriously do NOT understand this worshipping-at-the-altar-of-Lisa-Edelstein thing at all. Yes, she is a beautiful woman and I agree that every so often she actually does something that can be considered "cute", but more often than not, her actions are just plain annoying and inappropriate. SORRY - NO OFFENSE MEANT TO THE HUDDIES ON MY FLIST. IT'S ONLY MY PERSONAL OPINION AND DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T LIKE YOU!
I'm LOLing at the Huddies and their delusional speculation. The ones that think House is going to the mental institution TO GET ALL BETTER FOR CUDDY are my personal faves. Are these people watching the same show as me?
Good question. I think that a lot of Huddies are teenagers that still believe that love cures everything or incurable romantics who see the world through rose-colored glasses. The second House's penis comes into contact with Cuddy's vag, all will be right with the world. Ew. (Although I am anxious to see the very sexy House having sex with SOMEONE, even if it is Cuddy.)
Some people actually think House is going to get Cuddy pregnant next season, thanks to some ridiculous spoiler from Ausiello, which is probably not even about House at all, and is about some other show.
It can't POSSIBLY be about House (can it?). No, it can't. Talk about sounding the death knell. But see, this is why Huddies make me crazy. Every scene, every comment, every spoiler is about Huddy to them. God, can they get this sex over with so we can move on, please?

I totally agree. I think that it's going to be a hallucination. DS and KJ said it was going to be interesting and unconventional the way they get together, and a hallucination would definitely fit those criteria. (Pleeeease let it be a hallucination.)

And Cameron, I actually like more now that she appears to have stopped pining for House. Why is it that when the females pine for House, they surrender all dignity right along with it? I mean, he's cute and sexy and smart. But he's not GOD. It's sort of unrealistic. In real life, someone like House would not have women throwing themselves at him. Of course, he'd be unemployed and/or in prison by now too. But we try to ignore such gaping errors, in order to maximize our enjoyment the show.
There's something about the character of Cuddy that just oozes desperation, like when she was with the blind date guy and he was telling her what he liked and she said "I like those things too..." It's sad that a woman who is that attractive and supposedly intelligent (although we've seen little evidence of her medical prowess) feels the need to dress like a hooker in order to raise her self esteem.
And I noticed some of the Huddies were saying, on another forum, Oh! Oh but if House isn't in love with Cuddy, why would he go to the trouble to get her old desk???? Well for one thing, we don't have any proof that he did anything. For another, this is House we're talking about. It's possible he did it just to screw with her head. Or God forbid, maybe he was just trying to be nice. Why does nice = wanting to fuck someone? Did the Huddies conveniently forget how that scene ended? Cuddy went to thank House, found him giggling in his office with a hooker and left disappointed.
I think that scene perfectly depicted my entire perspective of the Huddy relationship. Great in theory, for about five seconds, until he realizes that he's going to have to roll over next to her in the morning. Because let's face it, House doesn't want to wake up next to ANYONE in the morning. And that's coming from a House Wilson shipper.
Anyway, I'm going to LOL so hard when the Huddy sex is meaningless. I can't wait to see all the Huddies tuck their tails and go sulk. I seem to remember saying the same thing, when everyone was so excited SQUEE about the upcoming Birthmarks episode because Doris wrote it. And I said that meant nothing, because she only has so much creative control, so it would inevitably be ambiguous and lacking in resolution. And guess what? I was right. One of these days, I'd like to be wrong. Surprise me, network television. Throw me a bone.

I am one of the few that liked Cameron. Yes, she got on my nerves sometimes, but all in all I thought she was OK. I always appreciated her because she was one of the few that would defend House. I don't like her as much now because she's a little too condescending and snarky lately. Independent and free from schoolgirl crushes is OK, but being nasty isn't.
I don't hate Thirteen. I hated that she was being shoved down our throats every week. And I'm on the fence about Amber. There are certain things I love about her and certain things I hate.
But Cuddy - I just don't like her and I don't like the way LE plays her (though I did kind of like her in season 1 and maybe 2). I was watching Last Resort the other day, and there was a scene where she sashays into the conference room like she's going to throw House on the floor and ride him like her life depended on it. In actuality, she was just coming in to tell him to run some tests. There was no need for the slutty behavior and it totally turned me off. And THEN she has the nerve to be surprised when he puts his hand on her boob instead of kissing her! Duh! You dress like a slut, you act like a slut, you get treated like one, Cuddy. It's the law of the jungle.
I always thought the whole desk thing was just House showing Cuddy that he could be a better person than her. There was no reason for her to be such a freakin' pain in the ass to him. She blamed him for destroying her office? Seriously? Did I hallucinate the crazed gunman?
To me, the desk thing was similar to The Greater Good when House just let Cuddy be a retard while he took the high road. (Although she blamed House for something he shouldn't have gotten blamed for in that episode, too.)
I've got to agree with you there, especially in light of the admission that he subconsciously wants to have sex with Wilson. Though I'm not sure he wouldn't want to wake up next to Wilson (or at least in the same apartment); remember when he erased that message so that Wilson would stay with him a little longer? I think if they had a bigger apartment (at least two bedrooms and two bathrooms) they would be very content living together and having sex on a regular basis.
no subject
I think House could live with Wilson. But I think they'd want separate bedrooms, even if they were lovers.
I think if I had to define House's feelings for Wilson in canon, they are more about the subconscious than the conscious. The amount of time and energy and attention he wants from Wilson is equivalent to that of a married couple or a soulmate, not a male, heterosexual friend. I don't think he realizes this consciously. Or if he does, he's in denial about it. Wilson is too. I think the idea that House is who he longs to be with, over anyone else, is sort of scary to him, even disregarding the possibility of homosexuality.
Yeah I concur about Cuddy. I LOLed when Huddies were like "oh but who did House choose in House's Head to imagine stripping?" Well if I had to look at that woman, falling out of her clothing every day at work, I'd probably hallucinate her stripping too. Seriously?
Considering all the shitty things Cuddy has done to House, this season alone, I'm surprised he can even maintain an erection in her presence.
no subject
I agree that House wants more from Wilson than what one would expect from a friend. His jealousy over Wilson's relationships is an obvious manifestation of that expectation. I'm not sure that it's all subconscious, either, for either one of them.
I would love to see DS and KJ take a really bold and risky step and explore the possibility of a House/Wilson relationship. It'll never happen, but it's on my Christmas list.

He hallucinated Cuddy for three reasons: one, she already dresses like a stripper (and NONE of the other women on the show do), so it wasn't hard to take it one step further; two, she is always deliberately swinging her ass and boobs all over the place like a stripper; and three, she's the only one that constantly throws herself at House. Even Cameron was more subtle and that's saying something. (In her defense, though, Cuddy/LE has a beautiful body.)
Considering all the shitty things Cuddy has done to House, this season alone, I'm surprised he can even maintain an erection in her presence.
I don't know how anyone can still look at her with anything but contempt. Making him quit so that he could follow her advice and try a new method of pain management (then doing a complete 360 on the whole thing)? Putting a tripwire across a crippled man's doorway? Pretending the elevators were broken so the poor soul had to climb FOUR flights of stairs? Stealing his can so that he had to use a mop bucket to get around (this just mad me so sad for him)? Drugging him so that Wilson can take him to his father's funeral (which neither have the right to make him go to)? The aforementioned torture of House by taking over his office after blaming him for ruining hers?
Yeah, she's his "one twu wuv" alright. I can totally see it.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what people are basing that ship on. I mean, any ship is unrealistic to some extent. But usually people who ship something they know isn't canon are fairly open about it. Some Huddy shippers really think House and Cuddy are soul mates and seem to have completely missed the entire House Wilson dynamic. Same with the Hams, although they've finally let up a bit.
In one of my fics, can't remember which, House is in a mental institution and someone commented "great story, but where's Cameron" and I was like "why would she be in this story?" House is sick. She no longer works for him. She's not connected to him directly, except for the fact that Chase visited once and they're sleeping together. But seriously. I couldn't figure out why someone would ask that. They might as well have asked me where Santa Claus was.

It totally baffles me how some of them are so convinced that House and Cuddy are going to ride off into the sunset and raise Rachel (baby? what baby?) together.
Even scarier are the Huli shippers that think Hugh and Lisa are soul mates. I don't condemn RPers, but it just seems icky and wrong to me.

I don't understand it either. Why do they see things where they don't (and shouldn't) exist? When the promos for Simple Explanation came out, there was one of the scene where Thirteen is questioning Charlotte about being married for 30 years. Within minutes the Huddies were there in full force squeeing "OMG!11!! There liek totally talkin about Huddy u guiz!!1!! Huddy secks!!!"
Barf.

Maybe because they like screwing with your heads, pretty much as they've done for the past 5 seasons.
I mean the baby was the biggest mistake ever. And if it was just a plot device to get House and Cuddy together, then major fail.
They cheapened Cuddy's earlier rather genuine desires to have a baby by turning her into a hormonal moron. And then in one episode the baby is there and in another she's not. I don't know about you, but when I had a newborn baby, it was evident in everything I did. It's not something you can quietly shove in the corner and access at your convenience.
And let's just for argument's sake say that House was entertaining the notion of shacking up with Cuddy. "The frisky. It went away" the second she adopted the baby. What do we know about House? He cannot stand to share the spotlight. He would not want to play second fiddle to some newborn infant. I've seen solid marriages failed over suck dynamics, because the husband just couldn't handle sharing his wife.
I think what's most sad is that -as a House Wilson shipper- and as far as canon, I only ship them friendship- the slash is just for my own personal amusement, I don't find myself having to reach or search too hard for evidence to support my ship. But I find myself being embarrassed for the Huddy's when I come across fanfics or posts that talk about how House is going to marry her and they're going to raise the baby together or how he's going to go to therapy to make himself all better for her.
I'm tempted to make a list of every possible ship and then include all canon evidence for an against each of them. I'll have all summer. So maybe I will.

Seriously? Because if you listen to the actual words in a lot of the songs they use on the show, they don't always correlate to what is actually going on onscreen. I guess you can find something if you look hard enough for it.

I don't know about you, but when I had a newborn baby, it was evident in everything I did. It's not something you can quietly shove in the corner and access at your convenience.
I totally agree. I absolutely despise the whole baby arc. I hate how she, as you say, turned into a hormonal moron and then became completely unhinged when she got the baby. That whole screaming at the baby "Tell me what you want" scene was awful, and worse, was followed immediately by mommy-baby bonding. Don't get me wrong, I know some mothers whether biological or adoptive don't immediately bond with their babies, but the writers should have talked to a real mom before writing that atrocious storyline.
And yeah, when I became a mom my daughter was either with me everywhere I went, or I was talking about her and shoving pictures into people's faces.
And let's just for argument's sake say that House was entertaining the notion of shacking up with Cuddy. "The frisky. It went away" the second she adopted the baby.
Which may have been the intention of the writers all along. DS doesn't believe in happy endings, and he realizes that for the show to succeed that House must remain House, so I'm willing to be optimistic and say that the whole baby thing was done deliberately so that HUDDY 4EVA will not happen.
I'm tempted to make a list of every possible ship and then include all canon evidence for an against each of them. I'll have all summer. So maybe I will.
That would be awesome to read!

The first time the woman in question had unprotected sex, which she did just ONCE, she got pregnant, had an etopic, and lost an ovary and a fallopian tube.
This time, she and Owen have had sex exactly ONCE. If she's pregnant, I'll be pissed.

I think House may be one of those INCREDIBLY rare males who actually doesn't really care much what a woman looks like, remember he didn't insult pregnant photographer lady and she really was not attractive (she had a very spooky resemblance to the late Linda McCartney) and he seemed more amused than grossed out by crazy syphilitic granny lady's crush on him. of course this may be wishful thinking on my part because I have a giant crush on him and I look like crap.

Now I'm going to think of him when I hear that song!

I've said for a long time that I think House is a pansexual or omnisexual. I don't think he bothers with labels at all. For example, in Daddy's Boy when they bring Taddy into the ER and House asks him if he had sex with Carnell, Taddy says he's not gay; House says that he didn't ask him if he was gay, he asked him if he had sex. There was another episode (it's escaping me now) where something similar was said. In Heavy, House tells the clinic patient that "men are pigs" and that they will have sex with anything.
Granted, House is definitely attracted to beautiful women, but I really don't think that if he were to get involved in a real relationship that looks would be that important to him.
I also think that House has a very sweet side to him that we hardly ever get to see. You gave two very good examples with Emma and Georgia. These are the times that I think we are getting a glimpse of what Hugh is really like, and I wonder if he has any input in these kinds of scenes.
PS - we ALL have a giant crush on House/Hugh. Otherwise we wouldn't be here!!!

IDK, that still might be marginally better than crazy, homeless guys or toothless old geezers.

But such great music in that last ep...

House has GREAT music, all the time. Not just the songs they choose to play each week, but the background music is just gorgeous. And on top of all that we get the added bonus of listening to Hugh play!

My heart just broke for him, standing there looking down at his cane and no doubt thinking about all the things he can't do any more and all the pain he is in. Watching him limp across the field was so moving, and the song had such a plaintive sound to it that it fit perfectly.
