So true, and I can't believe neither of them won an emmy for their performances.
I even find it hard to watch the ones where House and Wilson are fighting during the Tritter arc. I'm such a wimp.

House and Hugh get screwed by the Emmys. Of course, I'm of the opinion that the Emmys and the Oscars are all about being trendy and jumping on the bandwagon. TV shows and movies get chosen because the show/movie is artsy fartsy (but not popular), is about a beloved subject (Ray Charles, for example, though it was a good movie), a sympathetic star (battling an illness), or if the star dies (Heath Ledger). That's not to say that the shows/movies aren't good, but they aren't always the BEST. They are just the show/movie/actor du jour.

I think the Golden Globes and SAG awards are more significant and genuine.
