Just for my own amusement, I've made a timeline because I just can't understand how Cuddy can be 38 and still have gone to university at the same time as House.
House was born 6/11/59. Cuddy said in The Social Contract that she is 38. Assuming she isn't lying about her age (House didn't argue with her) and that she could have turned 39 the next day, she would have to have been born in 1970 or 1971. I like even numbers, so let's say 1970.
Just for the sake of argument, let's say because House was such a genius that he graduated high school at 16 in 1975 (and because he's said that he's been a doctor for over 20 years). Cuddy would be 5. House would be pre-med from 1975 to 1979. When House graduated pre-med, Cuddy would be 9. Med school for House would be from 1979 to 1983. Cuddy would be 13 when he graduated and still in 8th grade. Even if House had to add 4 years (very unlikely) onto his time in med school (because of getting kicked out of Hopkins), that would make his med school graduation 1987. Cuddy would be 17 AND STILL IN OR BARELY OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. (It would be more likely that he was at Hopkins less than 4 years, and the University of Michigan would've taken his credits from Hopkins, so it's not likely that he had to add any time on to med school at all. Which, of course, would make Cuddy 13 when he graduated med school and 15 if House graduated high school at 18.) House's internship and residency add another 4 years, and his double specialty would presumably add even more time onto that. If House graduated high school at 17 or 18, that would make it even more improbable that they could've attended university at the same time.
If my math or logic is wrong, feel free to call me stupid. It wouldn't be the first time. ;-)
OK. Now I feel better. Obsess much?

Another epic fail by DS. (Although nothing can beat this Huddy promo.)

This is my own personal time line for House before the Cuddy age thing ever existed. (It's the work of an over active imagination):
House born, 1959. Cuddy born 1970.
House graduates high school in 1976, at the age of 17. I think this believable not just because he is a genius but as a military brat who occasionally lived overseas chances are high he got private schooling or home schooling in order to maintain an American education overseas. I'm sure he had a lot of independent study that allowed him to skip ahead.
House does his undergraduate in three years - more than plausible because I know people who have done this. (years: 1976-77, 1977-78, 1978-79)
House completes medical school at John Hopkins in three years, also plausible because in order to go from year 2 to year 3 (when clinic starts) in the U.S. there's a specialized test you have to write. So I have House getting a science degree in university & essentially being credited for various 1st year classes, like anatomy, so he's able to write the test after only one year in medical school.
(Med school years: 1979-80, 1980-81, 1981-82)
However, in order to practice and get a medical certificate in the U.S. you have to have at least a one year internship or enter a residency program that includes an internship. House completes all of his academic requirements at Hopkins but gets kicked out of his internship/residency program.
Because it is so late in the season, all specialized internship positions would be filled. However, House covered his ass by also applying to several Master programs and still has a standing invitation at Tel Aviv University in Israel. He enters their Master of Medical Science program where he gets a post-grad degree in Experimental Pathology. He's there 2 years. (1982-83, 1983-84)
During his 2nd year he reapplies to enter into a medical residency program in the U.S. Because the program he is in in Tel Aviv (where he also picks up Hebrew)is half-clinic duty, he is able to enter the Internal Medicine program at the University of Michigan as a resident not an intern. That's 2 years for a certificate in Internal Medicine. (years: 1984-85, 1985-86)
So House starts at Michigan in 1984 when Cuddy is 14. Remember Cuddy tells Cameron that she was only an undergrad when she first met House and he was already a legend.)
House does his sub-specialty in Infectious Disease at Michigan University as well. That's 3 years. (1986-87, 1987-88, 1988-1989.)
Cuddy graduates from high school in 1987 at age 17 (because she is seriously ambitious) and enters the University of Michigan as an undergrad in 1987-88.
So their time together there would be two years 1987-88 & 1988-89. My thoughts on this is that House/Cuddy do not have sex while she is an undergrad. In my fucked up mind, House because he has both a medical degree and a master's degree, becomes a part-time adjunct professor teaching one 1st year & one 2nd year undergrad courses. He is a legend because of his teaching methods and is probably a little scary to the newbies. Cuddy knows him because she took both of his classes.
House leaves after his three year residency to do two years of infectious disease work abroad. I have him going to S. America (Brazil, Bolivia, Chile) and Asia (China - he knows Mandarin - and India) before returning to the University of Michigan to enter into its Nephrology program. That's another three years, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1993-94)
Cuddy would have graduated with an undergrad in 1991 (end of 4 years), and entered medical school at the University of Michigan at the exact same time as House. 1991-92, 1992-93, 1993-94 would have been her first three years there, so it's definitely possible that House knew about her medical school desk & it's also possible that during this time they had their one nighter.
Or maybe not. Like, I said this is a product of an over active imagination. And, someone who currently has way, way too much time on their hands. :)

There is just one big flaw in your timeline - House said (last year, I think, but maybe before that) that he's been a doctor for over 20 years.
Just curious, have I missed something in canon or are you just fabricating all of House's overseas education?

...that nothing could phase him because he's been a doctor for 20 years. Assuming House is Hugh's age then he was 45 at that time. I have him entering the Internal Medicine program (after his two-year stay at the University of Tel Aviv) at age 24. One year later, he gets his medical certificate at age 25; 20 years later at age 45 he tells the kid he's been practicing for 20 years. Every year after that is 20-plus.
I'm fabricating the international education based on what I know of House. He seems to know a lot medically about Brazil & South America. He also knows Portuguese and Spanish. It made sense to me that's he's been there.
Also, he knows Mandarin & knows a lot of Asian diseases. As an infectious disease guy it also makes sense that he would practice overseas. Many American universities have international outreach programs. He could have gone with a mentor.
He also has in-depth knowledge of Hebrew and Jewish customs, so it made sense to send him to Israel for a couple of years of study there.
Wilson/House specifically said that House was kicked out of an internship program. You don't get into an internship program without completing the academic portions required for it, so House could have completed his medical education but couldn't practice because he needs an internship.
There's no way he would have just moved into a specialized internship program elsewhere. It's a drawn out process and the specialized programs fill quickly. He would have been stuck with an education that he couldn't use.
It's mostly made up but I tried to conform it to what I know of House & what's been revealed in canon about him, his knowledge & his relationships.
Actually, this time line is part of a Wilson-House-Cuddy one that I created because I wanted to do a pre-canon fan fiction about the three of them. But there's already so many Wilson-House ones out there that I just gave up on the idea but still kept the time line. This is just the House-Cuddy half. I researched all of the information so I figure I might do something with it one of these days.
The thing I like about it is that so far it's worked no matter how TPB have tried to fuck it up. I haven't had to adjust too often.

I just posted a rant a my journal, only to realize that no one will read it, and even if they did it wouldn't matter. *sighs*
I hate life. Timelines are head-achey.
