Then again, I think it was Fox that did the obituary saying he was 33 (can't anyone ADD any more?), not DS, KJ, or any one of the myriad of House writers.
They did the same thing with Chase in Autopsy. And they're still doing it with Cuddy. Unless she's lying, there's no way she can still be 38. That would make her 11 years younger than House and they were supposedly at the University of Michigan at the same time.
She said she was an undergrad while he was in medical school. Meaning they have to be at least 5 years apart. In season 3, House refers to her as "nearing" 40, meaning she's at the very least 37.
In Cursed, House refers to Chase as being 26. The following season, Chase tells Andie he is thirty.

Did you notice that Thirteen said Kutner was 28 years old in Simple Explanation and his obituary says he was born in 1975?
