I am glad to see that I am not the only person who thinks this action figure is wrong. Just wrong. It couldn't possibly look LESS like AK/NL. I can live with the inaccurate descriptions, but unless they cut the head off, there's no way I can look at this and call it Krycek. Lorelei - I admire your restraint!

Do you mean his appearance in New Years Day? I thought his member wasn´t so impressive when I watched the pics, but it probably looks a lot different when you´re confronted with "it" full frontal :-).

If other people on the list hadn't been gushing about that wretched thing, I would have really let loose, but I've had my ass flamed to charcoal enough times to know when to shut up. ;)

God...I hate that thing. I just wish I could be a fly on the wall when NL sees it. I guess they *are* going for a sort of strung-out Piper Maru look but give me a break...I don't believe the Sideshow art department has EVER SEEN a photo of Nick. It just cannot be possible. He looks like he's 50 years old! How in the world do you make a model of one of the most beautiful men on planet Earth and have it come out looking like that? It's disgraceful. And don't even get me started on this Alexander Krycek business. Clearly, Sideshow has no clue who Krycek is and haven't done ANY research, sloppy or otherwise. His FBI badge says Alex, he's called Alex on the show. I don't know who this Alexander Krycek is but he's not OUR Rat!

I was trying to restrain myself as well. Ick. Butt f-ing ugly. Nick is so unbelievably beautiful that the "artist" had to have been blindfolded when he created that heinous thing. I'm OK with the strung-out look, but I want it to look like NL strung out, not George Clooney's junkie evil twin. I don't get the gushing, either.

"John" Arntzen??? "Got himself infected with the black oil"???? Yikes. And you can have one of your own for the low, low price of $45!!!! (BTW, I think of him as having Alexei as his real name; it's more exotic and sexy. Alexander is too normal and goody-goody for me.)

Haven't quite figured out the posting of pics thing on LJ yet. I can send them via email if you want. (Helen suggested photobucket, but they said no nekkid mulders. or duchovnys. or anyone.) Unless you have a suggestion?

Yes and amen to Alexei...I like that a lot. Although I did call him Alexander in one story just so I could call him Sasha. ;)

And tell me about it... that figure SUCKS. And not in a good way. I always swore I'd immediately buy an AK figure that came out, but... I just can't. That ISN'T HIM.

I'm doing great, too, thank you. :-) Glad to hear things are good with you. I'm loving my new job, and now that I'm finally FEELING better, I'm getting into the swing of sloooowing down my life. Takes work to break years of habits... whew...

And I did get my laundry done. :-D

Unfortunately, it came back. Dammit. It's like a bad penny that way.

Ooooh! WANT TO GO TO SEAWORLD SO BAD! But yeah, aren't my swashbuckley pengies just the coolest?! And Helen found me another pengie animated bit that is also adorable.

I am truly disgusted that they dare put that THING (I like your choice of phraseology there) out under the name of Nick and Alex. >:-{ Sacrilege, dammit.
