I'm of the opinion there's no one in this cast who can't act when there's a real call for it.
I mostly agree. So far I'm not convinced that JM is a fabulous actress. She's good, don't get me wrong, but she hasn't shown a lot of range, IMO. Perhaps it's just the way her character was written, though, so I'd have to see her in something else to compare it to.
