Everybody Lies.

Would someone please explain to me why right in the middle of a good kissing scene, the characters have to stop to breathe? Unless one of the kissers is Michael Jackson, whose nose is purely decorative and serves no useful purpose except to fill a spot in the middle of his face, I just don't understand it. This happens in the middle of otherwise excellent stories.

I can't tell you how many times the mood is ruined by my having to laugh over two characters having to "break" the kiss to "gasp for air".

Maybe I've been doing it wrong.
