1. List your 10 favorite movies. Encourage people to do this meme in their LJ too.
2. Ask people to reply with comments (as in their opinion, not just "I've seen it") on the movies from your list they've seen, and then list their top 10.
3. Comment on the ones from their list that you've seen.
Allrighty then. Here goes, in no particular order:
1. The Exorcist - Scariest movie EVER! That voice STILL give me the creeps.
2. Ordinary People - So incredibly sad; Timothy Hutton, Donald Sutherland, and Mary Tyler Moore were awesome.
3. Shot in The Face - My new favorite comedy! Just thinking about it makes me giggle like an idjit.
4. Jaws - It may be hokey now, but in the mid-1970's this was a scary-ass movie.
5. Crash (the one with James Spader)- Dark and bizarre, but I really like this one.
6. Weekend at Bernie's - I know, I know. This is one of the stupidest movies ever. But it makes me laugh.
7. Disney's Mulan - Great story, great music and Eddie Murphy is hysterical.
8. Blair Witch Project - I know it's fake, but it's a great concept and was done well. Truly scary stuff.
9. City Slickers - Just plain funny.
10. Once Bitten - Jim Carrey's first movie; special to me because a friend did part of the soundtrack (the title song "Once Bitten" and "Don't Talk" and the band was called 3 Speed). Goofy but cute.
